Travel Productions have provided travel related services to Tonkin & Taylor since Travel Productions was formed in 1994.

Tonkin & Taylor is an international environmental and engineering consultancy with offices spread through New Zealand, Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines. Our geographic area of operational focus is Asia / Pacific and at any one time we will have project-related staff on sites (and often investigation very remote locations).

We make heavy demands and have high expectations of our travel agent. We often need to make travel and accommodation arrangements at short notice and, due to client / project requirements, need to make eleventh-hour changes. We also expect to be directed to the most cost effective options so that we get value for money.

Richard and his team have and continue to give us their personal attention and we can rely on them to deliver to our high expectations. Our relationship with them commenced nearly nine years ago when our company travel covered Asia, Australia and then the USA.

We are a large account and almost without exception our itineraries are extensive (complicated!) and demanding.

I have 10 staff continuously in the US for approximately three weeks at a time, often with different destinations every second day.

The team at Travel Productions have done a more than admirable job in all aspects - flight co-ordination, ground transportation and hotels. Their attention to detail, itineraries and recommendations has always been first class. Sometimes we have six people leaving on the same day - all heading in different directions and with specific requirements. Everything is delivered in good time, with clear instructions where neccessary.

On a personal note, I am probably the most difficult to deal with - often not confirming my internal air travel in the US until several hours before my international flight leaves. Never has this been a problem for Richard or their staff. And even when I have lost my tickets and been stranded at an airport - they did everything humanly possible to rectify the situation without me having to pay US$1,500 extra!

Worth mentioning also, is the conscientious effort to keep our travel costs down - always making sure we have a good deal, looking at the options and always letting us know when there are special offers.
